Founded and established by Elinor K. Ho in 2001, E.K.H. Financial Resources located in Troy, Michigan, is an independent financial services company that serves the high net-worth individuals and focuses on: Comprehensive Financial, Retirement and Estate Planning, and Investment Strategy, Wealth Management and Life Income Planning. Elinor K. Ho is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) (the holder of licenses of Series 6, 63, 65, 7 & 24) who has been engaged in financial planning since 1994.
Elinor Ho also founded E.K.H. Financial Education L.L.C. in 1997. This educational entity focuses on educating the employees of a well-known Michigan-based automotive company about financial and retirement planning. Her students have benefited from her experience and knowledge. She takes pride in helping investors understand financial terminologies.
In 2007, Ho was named by Prudential (one of the companies she does business with) as one of the top 150 advisors across the U.S. and selected to participate in a special New Model for Understanding Retirement Risk program sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and Prudential Annuities where she learned how to assist today's retirees with their financial planning challenges. Ho has also been a member of the prestigious Prudential Annuities Master Council since 2006.
In 2009, Ho was successfully trained as the Collaborative Divorce Financial Specialist by Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan to help out the individuals to go through this critical time with the educational support that they need.
In addition to being a Chartered Financial Consultant, Ho holds a Bachelor of Finance degree, speaks several languages and has experience in conducting business with China. She accolades many awards from the Jaycettes Junior Chamber International, currently serves as the Treasurer of Southern Michigan Chinese School and the Board of Director of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Greater Detroit Chapter.
